April 11th, 2021:
A campaign worker was distributing awareness material about the predator, NOPD officer John O’Brien, when O’Brien’s mother Gloria drove past.
She turned around and came back, pulling up and saying “Stay right where you are, I’m police!”
Of course she was only illegally impersonating an officer, not actually a cop…but this did spawn the meme “I’ma Cop”, and this awesome merch site.
The best part, though, is that she then realizes “You’re recording, mother f*cker” and turns away…but not to avoid the camera. When she turns back a moment later, we see that she simply wanted to make sure we got her good side…a cigarette hanging out of her mouth.
